Magazine Cover Analysis 3

FILM MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS 3:

This cover is by the film magazine company Total Film and shows the protagonists from the film "The Avengers."

The use of including both male and female characters in the image helps attract both genders to the film. 

We can see that one of the characters is staring at the camera, as if she is looking at the audience. This use of direct mode of address is effective as it makes her look like she has contact with the audience. 

Bright colours have been used across the cover. This is a good feature to have on the magazine as it draws in and attracts audiences to look at it.

A small bubble of text on the left hand side of the magazine says that it is a "collectible cover" with the sticker being coloured gold. This would be attractive to the target audience of the film, as it makes the magazine seem more rare and valuable.
