One effective feature that we can see on the magazine is the use of direct mode of address, with the character staring at the audience in the picture. The use of this is effective as it makes it seem like the audience are in contact with the character.

The use of listing what articles are included in the magazine is effective, as it intrigues the audience and makes them want to read more about the magazine.

The use of including the protagonist of Avatar as the central image of the magazine is effective as the audience will be familiar of who the character is. This is due to Avatar being one of the most commercially successful films of all time, with billions of people worldwide going to watch the film.

The magazine's primary colour is blue. I feel that this has been used to make the magazine stand out to people when in shops.

A close up is used as the camera shot of the character. This is effective as it shows to the audience the character's facial expressions in the picture.
